Taco Loco in Laguna Beach

Great hole in the wall place to eat!! My wife had the steak tacos (which were perfect) and I had the chicken tacos which if they werent dry I would've given them a 5!! Regardless I will eat here again! Customer service is on point 😁😁

My friends and I stopped by this place yesterday, the customer service we received was not very good. There were two people working, a blond woman taking orders, and a woman with darker hair who was cooking. They both had bad attitudes. The food was also kind of soggy.

The food was ok! Nothing special! Too pricey! The ceviche had too much ketchup and the meat fajitas were old! I’ve been in places where the food it’s better for less price!

Good food not as good as I remember, thirsty for tips charge more than advertised on the menu just overall too pricey please stop putting the price of the lease and your payroll onto every plate sold some of us can not afford to live in Laguna Beach but love to visit and wouldn't mind a taste without sweating the finances. PS used to live here and afford to and I still wouldn't mind a price break on a bite to eat that wasn't fast food here and there I think you'd see more volume and overall profits. What do I know there's plenty of people in town who wouldn't bat an eyelash if you raise the price. Still some good eats oh, other Good Eats in Laguna try La Sirena either location, Mandarin King, Fusion Sushi, san shi go sushi tried Jimmy's lemon roll

I had their shrimp taco, which was excellent. The service was good and very friendly.

Amazing food. I eat here every time I’m in Laguna. Good place for vegans and vegetarians. I get their blackened potato tacos. My mouth waters just thinking about it!

I snagged a few tacos (carnitas, swordfish, and mahi) to-go and was very impressed. The carnitas was okay, but the fish was SO good. It came with all the fixins you see below included. I'll be back for sure.

Very underwhelming. The carnitas and chicken were bland, and the only thing with any flavor was the shrimp taco. Save yourself $5 and pass on ordering the “guacamole”. It’s 90% diced tomatoes and cilantro with avocado thrown in as an afterthought.

Great fish tacos in a prime location of laguna beach. They also carry meat options as wel, however I find it increasingly difficult to pass up the lobster taco every time. Such a great gem in an expensive city. Cold beer to boot!

Yummmm. Come here and you won't be disappointed. Potato Tacos and the bean and rice cup are a perfect vegan lunch

Taco Loco is 100% my favorite spot in Laguna. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by for a quick bite any time of day. The fish quesadilla is fantastic and any of the taco options are a great compliment. You always gotta take them up on the guac, its the best.

Great taco place!! I had the sea bass taco, swordfish taco, and salmon taco. Definitely filling enough also. It's a little tiny shop so you order and sit and get your grub on. Make sure you tip them too because they do a great job!!

One of our favorite local spots and one of the only places open late in Laguna. I highly recommended the blackened fish Nachos or Shrimp Quesadilla. Shout out to Nick for excellent customer service!

This place has a really great atmosphere and I appreciated being able to sit outside on such a beautiful day. However, I had the fish tacos and they just weren’t very good. The guac was delicious and I really enjoyed the alcoholic Kombucha so I’m giving it three stars; but, overall, a disappointing experience. I’m not likely to go back.

We went because they were open and food was edible but tasteless.

Tacos were amazing! We got lobster tacos, blackened swordfish and calamari tacos -all were fantastic. The lobster was perfectly cooked, swordfish seasoned impeccably and calamari was the most tender I’ve ever had. Not only was the food awesome, the owner was so kind. We got to reopen after the pandemic with a beer on the patio. If you are in town, a native or just driving through STOP AT TACO LOCO! It’s worth it!

I had a blackened mahi taco and carnitas taco. Pretty amazing. Hot sauce was sufficiently hot. Mahi was moist and flaky. Carnitas was slightly dry but still good. Tacos came with guac, onions and cilantro. Parking sucks, but it's Laguna.

I really love Taco Loco.. Great vibe, good food and right on Coast Hwy. Did I mention the prices are good. Also, they offer a lot of variety on the taco. Very fresh!

Wonderful atmosphere with great service and really good food!

One of the best Mexican street food style places in the area. They have everything you can think of, tacos, guacamole, quesadillas, fajitas, burgers, burritos and Pizzas and more. They're really generous with the cheese and spices. Not too spicy though. You can add chilli sauce and sour cream with guacamole to every dish and it comes with nachos so you really don't have to order nachos. It's pricey $$$ but it's worth it.

Great food and alot of options

This is a taco stand for the ages. It's just never bad! The food is great and location is fun to watch the cars go by on pch. On slow nights you can hear the waves crashing. I'm not a vegetarian but their mushroom tofu burger is excellent! The fish tacos and the carnitas tacos are delicious!

Delicious tacos with fresh, quality ingredients. All the fish always taste fresh. The calamari tacos are the reason I keep coming back.

The Monday Specials were seafood tacos so we ended up trying the Lobster, Salmon, and SeaBass. Tacos were good but all felt like they were on the greasier side and would have been too oily if I didn’t have the guac to balance it out. Outdoor seating was a good idea since the indoor counter space was a bit crowded.

Um wow! These nachos were everything! Such a generous portion and you get to choose the fresh toppings to go on. The guacamole was my favorite part. There's small seating areas. With alcoholic beverages you are limited to sitting within the gate. Might be easier to get take away instead of battling for a spot.

This is a nice taco place in Laguna where you can enjoy a meal inside or outside. They can work with you on making something vegan or vegetarian. Their food is made fresh and their salsas are spicy. It can get busy at certain times so it’s a good idea to have someone hold a table while you order. I ordered the blackened mushroom and tofu tacos. They were delicious. You can see that their specialty is more for seafood but they are good at working with you and your dietary needs. Eat more plants.

A great selection of street and seafood tacos. They have other stuff of course, but I came for the tacos and was handsomely rewarded.

Got 2 burritos. $30 for 2 burritos that had hardly any flavor, were dry, and for some reason had peas in them. The workers were pretty cool though.

We heard Taco Loco served some interesting takes on tacos, salads, quesadilas, etc. We tried the vegetarian mushroom nachos, blackened lobster tacos, and taco salad with blackened chicken. Each was topped with a healthy dose of incredibly fresh and delicious guacamole. Highly recommend.

The food was edible but I would not choose to eat here again. Within my group we tried the shrimp, chicken, tofu, and potato tacos. The tacos were very minimal (taste/ingredient wise) and the food didn’t seem seasoned at all. Their “guacamole” was basically chunky avocados with some tomato and onion and the salsa kind of tasted like canned tomatoes :( Just not worth it at all to me. I’m baffled by how that simple and basic of a taco is worth $4? Also our order was wrong; we ordered a fish taco and we were given another chicken. Edible... but I would not recommend.

Amazing Healthy Mexican / Vegan food in Laguna Beach and they’re open late nights. Been coming here since I was a kid. I love this place!!! The homemade Avocado Salsa is so tasty!!!! The owner is super chill and friendly. Makes you feel right at home.

The chicken and shrimp tacos are fantastic and the staff is super friendly. They have a wide selection of beers. Can't wait to try everything on the menu. You can't go wrong eating here.

Sampled 4 different dishes. They were all amazing. I grew up on similar food near Corpus Christi, and Taco Loco would make my Abuelita proud.Fresh fluffy tortillas. There was no gaminess to the fish at all. Everything was well seasoned and I was impressed with the portion sizes considering the price.Next time I'm in the LA area I'll be making a special trip just for Taco Loco
